Dear Aldea Community,
A Change In Our Format for March 15 and March 22 Sunday Gatherings
I’m writing today to let you know that the Leadership Team and I have determined that we will stream content online for the the next two Sunday gatherings (March 15 and 22). This means we will not meet on ground at our normal place and time. However, we will provide two online experiences you can view on March 15 and March 22 at 10 am. You will be able to view both experiences on our website (www.loveperiod.org).
Why are We Doing This?
The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is a world-wide public health emergency. Many U.S. national and state gatherings have been, and will continue to be, cancelled. Because our country seems to be in a very critical moment, and with experts advising smart social distancing, the Leadership Team felt it was important to issue this change in format.
We know the virus spreads when people are together, particularly in closed spaces. We also know that many people in our Aldea community are in populations that are particularly vulnerable. We want to be socially responsible community members.
We Will Stream Content Both Sundays (March 15 and 22)
The good news is we live in the 21st century. Through the technology available we can stream content to you on both Sundays.
I will be sharing talks from our current series: Unleash: Tapping The Potential of Your Life. This coming Sunday we will explore how to tap the potential of re-creation. And on March 22, we’ll explore how to unleash the potential of our community.
We live in interesting and complex times. I am grateful to walk these times with you. I’ll look forward to being in the same room again when we can celebrate this amazing and mysterious life.
