This will be our first Easter Sunday in our new building. We hope you join will join us and we encourage everyone to invite your friends and family.
Join us this Sunday as we begin a 5 week series entitled;
“Legends – finding inspiration from stories of Scripture”
This week’s message is about “Thomas-leveraging the power of doubt”
Remember, if you love what’s happening at aldea, we ask that you invite some friends to love it with you. See you at 10:00 am this Sunday
A message from our Director of family programs: Michelle
The kids will continue to learn about the Heroes of the Bible this week. We will be talking about Jonah and how he learned that “God’s love is for everyone.” The verse for this week comes from 1 John 4:21close1 John 4:21 21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. (ESV)

21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. (ESV)
and says, “Whoever loves God must love others also.”
Jonah had to be swallowed by a whale before he could believe this – hopefully it will not take an act quite as dramatic for our kids to believe it. They are, after all, a pretty enlightened group of kids.
See you Sunday.

A message from our Youth Director: Debbie
The youth group has started a new series called, “Asking the Hard Questions!” Have you ever had questions you were not sure if you are allowed to ask in church. Well the youth have just been given a free hall pass to do just that. Come ask whatever questions you want about God, Church, the Bible, Life etc… Many awesome questions have already been submitted and each week we will pick one question (or questions if they center on one topic) to talk about. If you didn’t put in your question yet, or if you have another question, there is still time to submit it. I will have a question box on Sunday for you to deposit your question incognito.
Also, a huge THANK YOU! to everyone who helped change the youth area around last Sunday!! I think this new change will make a big difference for us. We appreciate the help!!
Upcoming Youth Events
Game Night @ Debbie’s House – April 5th 4:30-9:00pm PLEASE NOTE NEW DATE
This is a great way to begin the new year by taking what we have and using it for the benefit of others by preparing and serving a meal to the residents.
These are people transitioning back into the job market and striving to become independent after various unfortunate circumstances. This is a great way to involve your children to help those less fortunate. If you want to sign up to bring a meal, serve the meal, or both, please contact us at email@example.com and someone will contact you with more information.

Prayer For The Week
Fill me with hope.
Let me shine your rays of possibility into the lives of others.
Fill me with peace.
May your calm, centering spirit surround me so that I may be still, and gift others with tranquility.
Fill me me with love.
Let kindness, acceptance, and joy fill my heart so that when others look at me they will see You, O God, smiling back at them.
Did you know that aldea has a prayer team? Our team receives the prayer requests that come from the website, the connection cards and those that come directly to us. Requests are kept in confidence. Prayer ministry is a loving and powerful way in which we can connect with one another and provide encouragement and support within aldea and to our larger local and global community. If you would like to be part of our team please get in touch with Denise Nagy. If you have prayer concerns pleas write them on the connection cards or submit them on our website.

“Love. Period.” is more than a slogan at aldea; it’s a statement of our identity. We view love as life’s highest value and the truest expression of faith. Many aldea events are designed with this truth in mind.
As you interact with people, ideas and practices, your faith is shaped and it shapes you. We encourage you to explore the spiritual path that fits who you are while learning from other people and other perspectives.
