Buddhists calle it a beginner’s mind. Jesus said, “be like a child.” Jiddu Krishnamurti wrote, ‘It is only the innocent mind that can see clearly, that can see something new.” Stoics remind us to end each day by reflecting on how we should be better tomorrow – how we should begin again.

In religious and philosophical traditions across the spectrum there is agreement on this: To live a mindful and meaningful life requires that we jettison rigid certainty and embrace possibility, ambiguity, and learning. As the Jewish proverb reminds us: He who thinks he is finished, is.

Join us this coming Sunday at 10 AM MST as we continue our series, Begin Again: Fresh Starts During Challenging Times. Every day is an opportunity to begin again. The events taking place in the world, and in the United States, only highlight the need for a fresh start, a humble heart, a courageous love, and a beginner’s mind.
