Relationships are critical to the cultivation of spirituality. Friendships, mentors, teachers, and spiritual companions all play a role in our search. Without the voices of friends and mentors, we become overly dependent on our own knowledge and wisdom. That can easily reduce us to ego-driven biases that narrow rather than widen our search. Relationships keep us honest and moving forward toward transformation.

In the second segment of Never Arrive, we considered voices from the past – ancient sages who enrich our exploration. In this segment, we will explore those who are alive today that enrich our lives through their friendship, mentoring, writings, or example.
