Do you agree that loving everything is what makes humans the happiest? Let’s assume for a moment this quote is sound and accurate – that loving everything makes humans the happiest. Then, of course, the next question is this: What does is it mean to love everything? Or even more simply: What does it mean to love?
The word “love” has so many meanings in our everyday usage. Before we could agree about the soundness of this quote, we’d have to have some agreed upon definition of love. What does it mean to love – a kind of love that makes us happy and wise as we make our way through life?
This Sunday, February 7, 2021 @ 10 MST, we’ll explore this question at our online gathering. We’ll see that love is the result of other virtues, particularly two: courage and vulnerability. And we’ll apply a definition of love to this quote and see if we agree that loving everything makes us the happiest.
