Aldea is a Community of Spiritual Seekers

What is Our Mission?

  Aldea’s mission is to transform the way seekers of wisdom, well-being, and spirituality (in the U.S. and beyond), find, create, and sustain enriching glocal (global and local) community where they together explore wisdom without dogma in order to change themselves and their worlds. We want to foster the creation of meaningful tribes of seekers who support each other to live lives of meaning, purpose and love. 

We do this by providing weekly podcast conversations and reflective resources that help seekers explore wisdom – both individually and in groups they create where they live. Once enough groups have formed, we encourage Aldea groups (near each other) to meet for social and social justice endeavors. We believe transformation is be experienced by small groups of friends that support each other’s exploration and development. We also believe in the power of groups that band together to enjoy larger gatherings that build bonds and make the world better through acts of services.

Aldea’s home base is in Tucson, AZ. The community was founded there in 2004. Over the years, we have decided to reach beyond Tucson and include people wherever they are. You can learn more about Aldea and check out recent podcast series’ here on our website. We regularly offer accessible workshops, classes, book studies, and conversations about a variety of topics. You can create your own Aldea group where you live and utilize our resources as conversational starters.
